Mittelman Furniture

Mittelman Furniture Company was established in 1956 by Israel and Sara Mittelman. Th ey started by building upholstered furniture in their basement. As they mastered t heir craft, the business became a strong competitor with over a dozen other furn iture manufacturers in the Kansas City area. In 1976, Phil Koffman, the Mittelma n's son-in-law, joined the firm and soon after started distributing other f urniture products in addition to manufacturing their own upholstery.
