Established in 1934 by Cyril Hornstra, the firm once known as Merchants Cash Register started as a simple repair shop. Through the years Merchants grew to be the Midwest's biggest provider of cash registers while delivering exceptional repair services and support. The firm's current President Gary Hornstra, grandson of the original founder, changed the name to Merchants Solutions in 2001 to reflect the firm's focus in delivering total Point Of Sale (POS) System solutions.
