We recently completed the pre-construction planning and design phase with Monarch Custom Homes. We chose to work with Monarch after touring other homes in the area and not finding quite what we needed (some homes were in the early construction phase but with very limited ability to customize). We wanted a modern aesthetic with clean lines and an indoor-outdoor living space. The build is truly custom (not taken from a pre-existing floor plan), created by Dina, their talented in-house chief architect, based on our lot, desired square footage, and needs. She sent us the plans, floor by floor, and made adjustments until we were happy. Siva, the construction estimator, presented the budget to us at each meeting, so there was transparency on the cost of the build and where we were over or under budget. Siva also handled the construction permits. For the interior design, we provided inspiration photos for each of the spaces, and Dina created a design board to bring our vision to life. We selected materials from samples in the showroom, but Dina also provided guidance so that we would not get too overwhelmed with details. Rana, the office manager, coordinated meetings with subcontractors, negotiated builder discounts on things like appliances and fixtures, and ensured that everything was running smoothly. The pre-construction planning and design phase took about 5 months. We really enjoyed working with this exceptional team. We have busy jobs and a young child, with not a lot of free time on our hands, so it was a relief to be able to call Monarch and trust the process. We have just broken ground on our home, and are very excited to move on to the construction phase and see our dream home become a reality!

Our experience with Monarch Construction on building our new custom home was exceptional. If anyone is looking to build a true custom home and not a cookie cutter custom home, Monarch Construction should be highly considered when choosing a builder. Monarch is extremely flexible on every aspect of building a custom home. From choosing design, materials, fixtures, floor plan, etc. If you're not comfortable making these decisions, they have a wonderful interior designer on staff that will guide you every step of the way. Most "custom home builders" give you select set of packages which the options can be very limited. Unlike other "customer home builder" Monarch gives you the option to choose any source that is available out there. If there is a particular wood floor, fixture, tile, etc you want to use Monarch will make it happen.

When it comes to the actual building process, Monarch will walk you through every step of the way. Our home was built in 7 months during the rough times of the pandemic. The pandemic did not slow them down which is quite impressive. Although there were hiccups along the way, which is unavoidable, Monarch were able to resolve them in a timely manner.

Long story short below is a list of bullet points of my experience and why we chose Monarch Construction:

Build a custom home with a modern touch, there are not many custom home builders that build modern looking homes
Build a home we wanted within our budget, although we went over due to our selections, we were willing to spend a little extra for choices we made.
Flexible material, fixture, tile, flooring, appliances, etc selections. With an in-house designer to help us source and pick those selections. For example, we chose to user wide plank Hardie board for the exterior for a more modern look which most home builders wouldn't considering using.
Ability to source out a different licensed contractors for select trades. For example,...

We chose Faris and Monarch Construction after we have talked to other custom home builders. Today after we have lived in our beautiful dream home for a week we wanted to say that we have definitely made the right choice by choosing Monarch Construction . Faris has listened to all our thoughts/ideas and he has been very approachable and flexible. He has great team members. Jason and Dale have been amazing project managers who are very helpful and have provided us with a lot of wonderful suggestions. They two were very generous with their time and energy to make sure everything is going on the right track. Custom home building could be a little bit lengthy and stressful but Monarch Construction has definitely made our experience smooth and pleasant! We are highly recommend Faris and his team!

Monarch Construction helped us build our dream home. Faris was incredible to work with throughout the process allowing our vision to come to life while guiding us to make sure everything came out perfectly. From the moment we broke ground to the time we moved into the house, Faris and team (company) was with us every step of the way. We are pleased with many factors of the Monarch built. The finish design far exceeds our expectations. The question I get asked over and over "If I had to do it all over again what would I do differently?" the answer is NOTHING, because the outcome was amazing as you can see from the attached photo.
