I am a client of Dr. Childers for years. I suppose I'm a bit fussy coming from a family with members in the medical professions. I have found his service absolutely stellar throughout the years I've used his service -- without a single item anything other than excellent.
Wary of Covid, I put off a cleaning, going only a few days ago. I'd like to compliment the entire staff for their carefully thought out and kept to protocols from outside the door (they clean the knobs after every entry or departure), to the new devices to gather saliva during a proceedure, to masks combined with face shields. There are even individual, substantial virus level aircleaners within each carrel. I regretted putting off my regular cleaning appointment for so long.
A friend's dentist declined having an emergency visit earlier in this difficult time. Dr. Childers agreed to see her. She resolved the problem (clenched jaw, not what she originally thought) and did not take the offer... a pity as I think she might have switched dentists.
Last, I looked over the comments on this thread. Dr. Childers is quick, very observant, likes humanity and sees us as individuals. He is highly professional and, even if you judge a dentist only by their prices and not their expertise, still well worth his fees -- as I don't find his prices out of line. No unnecessary services are given and I'm always asked about any proceedures such as X-rays before they are offered. In short, Dr. Childers is of high integrity, solid expertise and I dread the day that he retires.

Dr. Childers is a fantastic dentist. I have been going to him for many years and have no intention of changing, even though I have moved from Oakland and have to drive to see him for an appointment. He has a fine office staff who have been with him for years. His office is very clean.
I believe his pricing is in line with what other dentists are charging,
