read moreApril Smith opened Greater Learning in 1993 with a desire to help individuals reach their full potential. April understood that individuals have unique learning needs that cannot always be supported in a group setting. Through Greater Learning, April felt she could best meet the individual's needs by providing intensive one on one treatment that would allow them to grow and develop the communication and academic skills they might otherwise not be able to realize. April appreciates the opportunity to work with families during the course of treatment which provides further support to the individual, as well as the opportunity to watch individuals gain independence and success in their daily skills.
