read moreCynthia holds a Bachelors's Degree in Social Work from the University of Oregon and a Master's Degree in clinical psychology with additional advanced training in art therapy from Antioch University. She brings a unique combination of academic training and real-world experience to her work. She has been an adoptive and biological parent of two sons, a step-parent, a foster and group home parent and understands first hand the challenges and joys of family life. During her professional career, she has been a personnel recruiter for the University of Washington, a marketing manager for an international electronics manufacturer and, most recently, a mental health consultant with Volunteers of America, providing support to Snohomish County child care providers.
