Municipal Golf Course

Designed with the average golfer in mind, Maxwell Golf Course is a guaranteed fun round for any player. Situated just S of downtown Abilene and minutes from Interstate 20, this is a public course that is always in great condition. Maxwell is now back under the direction of long-time general director Dave Hand, of West Texas Golf Systems. Dave finished major improvements to the course last summer, including resurfacing the greens with Champion Bermuda grass, and improving the quality of the cart paths. Along with an extensive list of other improvements, Maxwell is in its finest condition ever!
