Known simply as MTH, our organization was established in 1998 by George Harter, as a 501c3 production firm to entertain and enlighten new generations with the legacy of the American art form known as Musical Comedy. MTH gifts classic musical theater and review performances in the 240 seat, Off Center Theatre at the Crown Center Shops in Kansas City. These are professional productions using all local talent and are presented in concert or semi-staged form.

read moreTaught by Kansas City's top performers, directors and educators, our educational goal is to design and implement a ground-breaking curriculum that would immerse our area youth in the pure joy of musical theater. We began by designing popular, age-appropriate musical summer camps for students K-12 - taught by Kansas City's top performers. These fun-filled, week-long camps of song and dance are already nationally recognized and now serve a diverse, cross-section of our community. With overwhelming camp success and a demand for more, the Education Outreach Program has since grown to include over 34 original camps, new community partner workshops with theGirls Scouts of Northeast KansasandNorthwest Missouri, The YMCA and Operation Breakthrough.
