After using Nashville as a point of arrival and departure for a family history research vacation in the fall of 2005 we had formed an indescribable attraction to this middle Tennessee city. Nashville is rich with culture, diversity and history. The Southern hospitality is true and sincere. The music is everywhere, live & fresh. After a quick turn of events, we sold our B & B cottages in northern California and remembered our fondness for Nashville and the Volunteer State.

Willow Springs, is almost urban but just removed enough to be in a neighborhood of single family, mid-century brick ranch homes on a tree lined street. This is our largest home with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is about 6 miles from the downtown center and about the same distance to the Opryland resort area. This trendy area of East Nashville/Inglewood is best know for easy stops for lunch like Mitchell's deli in the Riverside Village.

Expanding the tradition of offering Nashville's longest established Vacation Home rentals - the Riverside Drive home is Nashville Neighbor's newest choice. A three mile drive through Shelby Park provides for easy access to the "Lower Broadway" experience. This is where the original Honky Tonks of Broadway - Tootsies, Legends and the like, entertain non-stop. Other familiar spots in this Lower Broadway area include the Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Arena, Music City Center, and don't miss the Ryman Auditorium - the mother church of country music.

Either for vacation, work or relocation this convenient location near Ellington Parkway and Briley Parkway can be your home away from home. It is 5.1 miles to the Opryland Resort area or 6.5 miles to the downtown Lower Broadway entertainment area. This 3 bedroom, one bath cottage has lots of charm. It is stylishly furnished with 1 king bed, and 2 queen beds.

To confirm your reservation, 25% of your total stay will be billed through our Square Invoice system. We will email you this invoice, along with your confirmation letter. The Damage Deposit will be invoiced separately (see below). The remaining 75%, or full payment amount, is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival date. Email reminders for this final payment will be sent approximatly 1 week before the due date, unless other arrangements are made in advance (mailing us a check, for example).

Shelby House, established 2006, makes it East Nashville's first "VRBO" - Vacation Rental by Owner. When we set this house up in May of that year our realtor Maggie questioned the feasibility. Shelby House is our closest offering to the Lower Broadway entertainment area. About 1.5 miles down the street is the eastern edge of the Cumberland River, the Shelby Avenue pedestrian bridge, and Nissan Stadium.

What more can I say - I love this house and this location. Each of the three private bedrooms has a queen sized, comfortable, double sheeted bed and room for all your stuff. Everybody shares the bathroom but surprisingly this works better than you would think. Wireless internet will keep you connected, cable TV can keep you informed. Central heat and air will keep you comfortable.
