Nationwide Dealers Services (NDS) was established as an insurance agency by Don Trinen in 1969. While delivering credit insurance to automobile dealers Mr. Trinen then introduced the concept of vehicle service contracts as the 2nd agency in the country to do so. In 1979 NDS expanded its operation to Wyoming, New Mexico in 1980, Nebraska and Texas in 1981, South Dakota in 1982 and Utah in 1986. In 1992 NDS introduced the 1st remote starter interrupt preload program to the Rocky Mountain area. Shortly thereafter NDS expanded into the mobile security and sound system business.
