Jimmy Cosenza Sr. Founded the Seal-Tite Roofing Company in 1946. He later moved the business to San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley in 1952 into the very same building where Nicholas Roofing is situated today. Jimmy Cosenza Jr. Started roofing part time for his father's Seal-Tite Roofing Company at age 17. He then graduated from high school and joined the US army for 3 years. He returned to roofing while at the same time attending San Francisco State University. In 1976 Jimmy married Susan Love, a graduate of UC Berkeley. They began a family and Jimmy began a complete time roofing career.

The best in roofing. They are honest and professional, and a delight to work with! I worked with the Company in the 1980's when they replaced my detached garage and patio roof. I contacted them again in the 1990's to put a roof on my new sunroom. I worked with them a third time several years ago when I had to have a new roof on my house. Each time they were professional and courteous! I highly recommend them!

Nicholas Roofing was great. I figure they are a good company to work for one of their roofer has been with them for 20+ years. They were very friendly, responsive to my requests and questions, and completed the project quickly and cleaned up their mess well. They even were very willing to allow me to pay half the cost on a 6 month payment plan which helped me immensely. Glad I gave them my business!
