NEMA has been delivering quality martial arts training in Rochester, New York since 1979. Established by Executive Director and Chief Instructor Sensei Martin A. Noel, Northeastern Martial Arts is committed to delivering our students with a thorough, effective and enjoyable program! Our areas of study include Okinawan Karate & Kobudo, Japanese Jujitsu, QDT (Quick Defensive Tactics) Cardio Kickboxing, Tai Chi Chuan, Kendo / Kenjutsu and Pekiti Tirsia. At NEMA, we aim to assist our students achieve their greatest potential in a disciplined yet friendly atmosphere.

read moreNEMA has been providing martial arts training in the Rochester area since 1979. In April 1994, we relocated our school to Chili Center in the Chili-Paul Plaza. Our professional 3,800 square foot facility includes two dojos or training areas including a matted area for the grappling oriented programs i.e. Jujitsu, Aiki Jujitsu, Katame Waza, and QDT. The facility also includes heavy bags, mirrors, a kickboxing training facility, and other equipment necessary for the successful practice of the martial arts.
