Koamex General Wholesale is a California corporation diversified in the distribution and export of dry goods and confectionery. Koamex's business reaches all across the continental US as well as international ventures, including countries like Ecuador and New Zealand to name a few. In 1978, the American dream was realized for Yong H. Kim and his brothers when they established Koamex General Wholesale in the City of Los Angeles, California. The Kim brothers risked their entire life savings of $10, 000 to open their 1st cash & carry, from that point on several Koamex subsidiaries matured.
