AN OPTIMIST CLUB is a non-profit voluntary organization made up of civic minded women and men banded together for progressive thought and action in community service. Membership is by invitation and is composed of citizens drawn from business, industry, agriculture, and the professions. Members are motivated by the desire to contribute to the community from which they and their families draw daily benefits. There is no greater opportunity for participation in community affairs and service than in an Optimist Club. We take pride in supporting our youth and thus the slogan Friend of Youth.

The motto of all Optimists is "Friend of Youth", you are invited to join us at one of our meetings to get to know us and learn how you can be part of this active organization. Are scheduled the first, second and third Tuesday at 6:15 p.m., with the third Tuesday being a supper meeting open to members and their family.
