Very professional

I am so happy we found Steven. He is very professional, experienced, and has a calm manner that put me at ease. He has competitive rates, he was able to start within a month, and he redid our entire driveway, lawn and patio of our corner lot in just three weeks.

I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted for the front yard, and I loved how he listened carefully, made helpful suggestions, but didn't push anything onto us. I don't have a design background so he was really able to bring my vision to life. For instance, I knew I wanted a sitting wall to line the patio and what that would look like, but he suggested the shape and distance from the house that was different than what I thought, but made perfect sense and now I love the look and feel of the space.

I have to admit that I sent him texts and emails quite often with specifics of what I wanted and I'm sure it was annoying, but I really wanted everything to be just right. He always responded right away and didn't seem put off by my frequent changes regarding small details.

I trusted that since he had been in the business so long that he would find the very best people to put in the pavers, sitting wall, and artificial grass, and I was right. I loved Jose, the foreman. He is fast and has great attention to detail. He did some things that I hadn't actually communicated to Steven, but that I did want. He just really knows how to lay out everything so it looks aesthetically pleasing. And thank God for that since we didn't hire a designer. We also loved how respectful Steven was with Jose and his team. They seemed to have a great rapport. We're just so happy with how everything turned out, and we plan to use him again when we redo the backyard.

They put in the pavers, stones, sitting wall, artificial grass and steps. We couldn't be happier!

Great experience!

This was my first experience involving a backyard renovation. Luckily, Steven and his crew at Opulands held my hand, and answered all of my questions and concerns as they walked me through the process. Opulands was able to take my general idea and concept, and turn it into a reality, and all within budget!

They turned my patch of dead grass into a beautiful Victorian paver-stone patio with pergola boardered by a dogleg left! During the COVID, my elderly father was unable to frequent the links the way he used to, so we brought the course to him, and he loves it! We can't wait to share our new backyard with our friends and family!

Steven and his crew did an outstanding job with landscaping our backyard. We met Steven from Opulands in Los Gatos at the rotary. Steven came over the next day and spent over several months a lot of time with my husband and I designing what turned out to be an awesome new backyard. We love the paver patio, fire pit, smoker and BBQ island. My 2 year old son is in love with the lawn, seating benches and his new play area.
