Orange County Nursery

The Orange County Nursery and Land Company was set up in 1887 in Fullerton, California. In its early decades, the nursery supplied the growers and landowners of Orange and San Diego counties with a selection of nursery stock including bareroot fruit and nut trees, ball and burlap citrus and ornamental plants. About 1917, Margarito Veyna emigrated from Mexico. One of his 1st jobs was with Orange County Nursery and Land Company. Margarito worked very hard learning all he could about growing nursery stock.
