Mike's Bike Shop is situated on the pretty Oregon Coast (Map) 75 miles W of Portland, on the Pacific Coast bike route that goes from Canada to Mexico. Cannon Beach is surrounded by two incredible state parks: Ecola to the N and Oswald West to the S. Both offer hiking and biking trails. Mike Stanley opened this shop in 1974 after returning from an eight month cycling world tour from Portland, Oregon to Paris, France. As a member of the Oregon Recreational Trails Advisory Council he was influential in establishing mountain bike trails.
