Day 2 of the painting portion of the job was just supposed to be putting the lights and air conditioning vents back up and doing a final inspection of the paint job. Since the paint had a chance to dry and they were seeing it in a different light, they decided that one portion of the ceiling did not yet meet their standards.
I told them I didn't see a thing wrong with it, but they said it wasn't yet up to their standards and they re-rolled the entire section anyway. When we told them we were going to try to paint the walls ourselves just to save a little money, they took the time to show us the equipment and techniques they use to make painting easier and more efficient. Who does that?? Ryan and Des do. And we are grateful.
