In 1942, James Strickland began Strickland Venetian Blind Works as a manufacturer and dealer of wooden venetian blinds. Through the years, Strickland's has evolved and expanded with the times, adding services such as selling furniture and carpet, manufacturing windows, and even a blind laundry! Why, at one time we even had a division that made clocks! But our major passion has always been window treatments. Today, Strickland's Window Coverings is still a locally owned business, delivering Southeastern North Carolina with a huge range of quality window fashions and professional.
