Since 1824, when the 1st balloons were invented, people have found every excuse to party. So in 1980, we figured we'd better open stores and ensure that every man, woman and child had a place to go for balloons and all their celebration requirements. And that is what we did. Our 1st firm goal was simple. To become the finest darn party store in the Western US. We were a tiny, regional firm with solid new store growth, with locations primarily in California and Colorado. However, it soon became apparent that our party FUN was needed across the country.
