I was introduced to acupuncture by my own need for healing. At the time, I had a stressful working environment which led to tension headaches. I was taking classes at the Rochester Tai Chi Center (Tai Chi is a moving meditation) as well as workshops on acupressure, meditation and energy movement. So, when someone suggested I try acupuncture for my tension headaches, I was familiar with the Eastern philosophy of body/mind/spirit medicine and open to the suggestion.

He began his studies of Asian healing arts in 1987, at the Ohashi Institute of Shiatsu, completing the advanced shiatsu levels and basic instructor training.
