Our newest venue, Allen Organ's Octave Hall in Macungie, has been declared a rousing success by the musicians and the audience. You know you are doing something right when you have to set up additional chairs (fortunately the floor plan is open and enables this) and speedily reproduce extra copies of the program because of the influx of audience. July eighteenth's concert was a delight - the ambience was warm and intimate, the acoustics were superb, the audience was attentive and appreciative and the musicians were at the top of their form.

As circumstances allow in coming months for safe group gatherings, we hope to present a solo piano recital in 2021 by Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner. At Juilliard, he was the youngest admittee to the Bachelor's Degree at 14 and the Master's Degree at 18. Now 22, Mr. Sanchez-Werner has been lauded for performances that have stirred the intellect and humanity of his audiences on five continents.

read moreAs we take note of our PROUD HISTORY, LIVELY FUTURE, it's interesting to recall some of the events that have shaped the character and growth of the organization. 1982- Noteworthy! The Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra presents its first subscription season at Allentown College (now DeSales University) in Center Valley. The group establishes its approachable attitude from the start: the entire audience was invited to receptions at Allan Birney's house after the concerts. 1983 - Valley Vivaldi, the Sinfonia's summer Baroque chamber series begins.
