Is the result of the merger of Perfect Fit Manufacturingof Portland and McDonald & Company. Perfect Fit, set up in 1924 and McDonald & Co, set up in 1912 were competitors who came under the same ownership in 1965 and the firms finally merged in 1980 under a single name.
