Perfectly Sweet

In 1987, my dad was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. For my gourmet father, who loves sweets, this was a nightmare. He could no longer enjoy the candy & snacks that he loved. My family looked high & low for sugar free products for him (mostly sugar free chocolate, sugar free candy and sugar free desserts) Some were nice. Most were not. The sugar free chocolate and sugar free candy from the supermarket & drug stores were 2nd rate, tasteless or full of nasty chemicals (many times all three) They simply would not do.
