Dr. Matoska is exceptional. He has a great demeanor and has never tried to up-sell me or recommend a procedure that I don't really need. I trust his judgement when it comes to my gums. I've had 3 gum grafts over the course of 4-5 years (3 different quadrants, not repeats)...the first 2 turned out well and the most recent one is still in the healing phase but is tracking fine so far.

I went in for a consultation and Dr Rodriguez and his staff created a welcoming environment. They didnt try to sell me dental implants and instead guided me on what was best for my situation (possible saving my tooth). I highly recommend especially if youve been having trouble finding a trustworthy dentist office.

If you are looking for the best periodontist in Los Angeles, look no further than Dr. Otomo. Her genuine warmth and caring for her patience, together with her expertise and dedication to her field (ask her how many prestigious dental boards she sits on!) quite literally put her in a category by herself. I met Dr Joan Otomo-Corgel while bringing my client to see her. While there I showed her my front gums that had amalgam leaking from very old post & core with crowns & multiple bone graft procedures. My dentist sent my X-rays to her office and she examined my whole mouth to advise me & my dentist what she suggests as treatment options. Meeting Dr Otomo- Corgel gave me great peace of mind about next steps. Once that part of my mouth is tackled, I would definitely come back for an implant consultation in another part of my mouth! Her assistant Marcello was very welcoming & thorough with my intake & exam. What a blessing

My recent visit to Dr. Otomo was fantastic which is not usually a word used when having a tooth extracted but she made a potential uncomfortable situation extremely comfortable. Dr. Otomo is extremely professional, precise, gentle, very caring and passionate about the work she does. Dan who works closely with her during procedures is fantastic as is the staff that coordinates appointments, etc. From my initial contact with Cecilia through the completion of the extraction everything went better than I had anticipated. I experienced little to no pain afterwards and the follow up post extraction was very clearly communicated.
I highly recommend Dr. Otomo for any periodontal needs.

Glad I came here and found this place , everyone from the staff is so polite and genuine, I came here for a crown lengthening procedure , Dr Ahn was outstanding and trustworthy , very kind , since the beginning of the consultation I knew I found the right place, he made sure I felt comfortable about the procedure as well as the staff , I also got an implant and did not feel no pain the whole procedure went well I would recommend him to anyone. I have been a patient of Dr. Matoska since 2011. He has provided excellent periodontal care and has literally saved me from potentially serious gum and bone problems. He has personally, along with his office team, worked with me so that I understand the procedures, coverages and costs in order to plan for and manage from a financial and timing standpoint. I am now under terrific maintenance / hygiene care. The office and hygienist staff are not only the best at what they do, they are extremely service oriented and professional.
