Perry Hall Children's Center was established by a group of parents who recognized the importance of parental involvement in the education of young kids. We're situated at Saint Michael's Lutheran Church. Since 1972 we currently have served families who had a special desire to share in their child's 1st school experience. We believe the efforts, personal talents, and the direct involvement of the parents during the school day make for an exceptional educational endeavor. Because we're a cooperative preschool, the administrative responsibilities of the school belong to the Board of Directors.

A cooperative preschool is maintained by the parents/guardians of the children enrolled. Parents voluntarily take turns assisting teachers in the classroom, volunteering for one of the many necessary jobs (which may be in or out of the classroom) and sharing in the business operations of the school, such as fundraising.
