Painting Company in San Diego, CA
Established by Herman Van Dulst and his son in law, Henry DeRuiter, The Pervo Paint Company has had a vibrant history painted with quality and tradition. Upon emigrating from the country of Holland to Michigan, Henry married Herman's daughter Dorothy. Together they embarked upon a great adventure, moving W to California with dreams of launching a quality paint firm. Herman had brought a special formula for manufacturing Paint from his homeland and together their families launched The Pervo Paint Company. Pervo, meaning impervious in the Dutch language, was the perfect quality necessary in a best quality paint brand. Thus, it was decided, Pervo would be the firm name. Their original logo still stands today, consisting of two lions holding a shield emblazoned with a P, borrowed from an old Dutch coin.
