Papa's Metaphor for life is a three legged stool. He says that one leg represents the professional, one leg represents the spiritual and the 3rd one represents friends and family. If each one is given equal attention, then the stool remains stable. More often that not the person who kept the stool stable in our family was Grammy. You see, Grammy thought everyday was a holiday, and no one could celebrate like Grammy! Whether we gathered around the kitchen while smells of turkey and dressing and pumpkin pies came.
