Plateau Truck & Tractor was established over twenty years ago by Ralph and Kevin Padgett. Ralph (Kevin's father) had prior successful knowledge in ownership of a retail tractor dealership and a construction company. For many years, Ralph and Kevin had farmed few hundred acres in the pretty Cumberland Plateau region. The tractor sales bug bit Ralph again a several years later, when he learned that Kubota Tractor Corporation was interested in founding a local dealership for its equipment.
