Each had been in the food industry, so it was an easy switch to the sandwich business, with one exception. To become a place where people want to meet with friends and enjoy a wide variety of specially made sandwiches and more is what was wanted most. And, over the years, PMS (Professionally Made Sandwiches) Deli has become such a place. In 2009, Barry Akers became the new owner and vowed to carry on with the idea of creating an atmosphere that offers exceptional service, great prices with the quality and variety people have come to expect.
