Port Edgewood

Christopher Migliaccio purchased Thorsten's Boat Yard in 1944 and renamed it Port Edgewood. Within a few months, he became a sales representative for the Owens Yacht Co. Handling accounts in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He got the idea to develop a showroom where boat yard owners could put their boats on display with his. His dream became a realty at the close of WW II and the showroom was built. Ownership changed hands again in 1980 and the facility was expanded, including the production of Don Aronow designed Banana Boats, to its' current configuration.
