read moreMembers can take a leisurely swim, participate in our swimming lesson program, or relax in the warm sun with family, co-members, and guests from Memorial Day through September, weather permitting. With its expansive decks and patio, tables/chairs, lounges, and showers/changing rooms, the pool offers a comfortable surrounding, with The Splash offering poolside snacks and beverages all season long. For decades, members and their guests have enjoyed individual and small-group swim lessons. Professional Instructors can be scheduled for personalized instruction.

The centerpiece of our private community is our 38,000 square foot modernized clubhouse overlooking the 1st and 10th tees. This is a proprietary membership that provides full club privileges to Members, their Spouse and immediate family members through their college years.

With a diverse membership, PGC's programs and clubhouse opportunities are designed by our member-led Entertainment Committee, and delivered through the support of our outstanding staff. Beyond events structured by the Entertainment Committee, members are encouraged to create and host private events to take advantage of PGC's amazing venues and entertainment options.
Racquet Sports
read moreTwo tennis courts are available year-round for member play. Located just above the PGC Clubhouse, adjoining the upper-parking lot, offering easy access. Pickleball is alive and well at Portland Golf Club! PGC has retrofitted its tennis courts with multiple Pickleball courts, based on requests from our members. Like golf, this fast-growing recreational activity can be enjoyed across generations. Courts may be reserved and equipment is provided by PGC for members seeking an introduction to the sport.

For example, Robert Trent Jones established a design goal "to make the player stop and think before swinging". The complexity of PGC's greens rewards players that emphasize their short game, while providing a great variety of shots to all.
