During his tenure with the city, Mr. Maciej earned unique knowledge in development and planning, serving as a key team person on such huge public planning projects as the North and South Embarcadero Planning programs. Importantly, he played a key role in the siting and planning of the future downtown ballpark and served as Council member Wear's key aide on the Ballpark Task Force. , Mr. Maciej spent few years involved in federal government, working for both the US Senate and the House of Representatives.
