Our retinal camera allows Dr. Chan to identify and document many diseases of the retina as well as aid educate patients in their eye health. Systemic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure or macular degeneration often have no symptoms but can be devastating to eyesight if left untreated. Early detection is often the finest line of defense. Our visual field screening device assists Dr. Chan rule out diseases which may affect organs behind your eye. These diseases, such as strokes, multiple sclerosis and glaucoma, may otherwise not be visible.
