Food Supplier in Sacramento, CA PRODUCE EXPRESS is a wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables to foodservice operations in the greater Sacramento Valley. PRODUCE EXPRESS started operation in the winter of 1984. After working within the produce industry for 40 years, Jim Boyce decided to go into business for himself. To compete with the bigger firms, Jim believed he had to provide quality products, competitive prices and exceptional service. These principles are still the basis of operations under the direction of Jim's son, Jim Jr.

Consumer Boxes
read moreTimes are continuously changing, especially in the face of the current pandemic. Our consumer boxes truly took off in ways we could have never imagined. We want to thank each member of the community who supported our new program and helped us thrive. In order to provide the freshest ingredients and maintain a fast-paced warehouse, we have decided to scale down our consumer box availability days. As of August 24th, consumer boxes will only be available two days a week. We will only offer consumer box drop zones on Thursdays and pick ups at our warehouse on Fridays.

If you prefer the local product from Dwelley, please specify when ordering. Celery- We have finally transitioned into the Salinas Valley and Central California Region. Labor and lack of supply will keep the market strong but we should start to see some relief. Corn- Outstanding Desert Diamond White and Yellow Corn from Brentwood is currently in stock.
