Progressive Martial Arts was established in Denver in 1985 by Mr. Stewart Lauper. Mr. Lauper and his senior team bring over seventy years of training in some different martial arts to their classes. As our name implies, we currently have a progressive approach to our teaching and training. We bring the finest elements of old style training: Honesty, Courtesy, Discipline and respect and blend them with fun, fitness oriented modern methods of the 21st century. At PMA, we currently have found this method has worked very well over the last 20+ years.

Moving to West 29th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard in 1987, PMA became firmly rooted as a cornerstone northwest Denver business establishment - and a veritable anchor for the thousands of students who have walked through the doors over the past 30 years. Today, PMA has established itself as a premier and highly respected martial arts school.
