In 1954, the employees of Public Service Electric and Gas Corporation founded the Public Service Federal Credit Union in order to supply a safe place to save their money and create an avenue for then to borrow money when they were in need. As a member of our credit union, you become a shareholder - in other words you and I are not just the clients, but are the owners of this credit union. The Public Service Plaza Federal Credit Union has grown since its inception.

read moreAs long as you maintain savings in our credit union, your life insurance remains in force. In the event of your death, your heirs receive both your savings and the insurance payment your savings provided. Dividends will be compounded semi-annual and credited semi-annual. The dividend period is six months. The beginning of the date of the first dividend period of the calendar is January 1st and the ending date is June 30th. The dividend declaration date is the third Tuesday in the last month of the period and for example will be the third Tuesday in June.
