As an active fitness enthusiast, I am always looking for a way to surpass my current performance and abilities. When I heard about the POV (Performance Optimization Velocity) treatment from Purefico Medspa, I immediately made an appointment and it did NOT disappoint. The treatment involves sending direct current (electrical stimulation) to targeted areas of the body while physically stimulating the muscles through active (but simple) range of motion exercises.
For example, while targeting my calves with the POV, I was actively doing calve raises with body weight only. Each muscle group was then targeted one at a time until the treatment was completed. The results were incredible and I couldn't believe the effect it truly had on my body. The next day I woke up feeling like I received more of a workout from this treatment than I had received in months from a physical gym.
While the physical aspect of the treatment was amazing, I also mentally felt as if I could place a better mind to muscle connection throughout my entire body. Outside of the treatment itself I would also like to commend the facility and staff. From the moment I walked in the door I was met with professional and friendly environment that made me feel welcomed and at ease.
I was then walked through the treatment process step by step by the owner herself. She even conducted and completed the POV treatment! She made me feel comfortable and secure ensuring that all my questions were answered and it was obvious to see she was an expert at the treatment itself. Although this review is specifically for the POV treatment, I would recommend Purefico Medspa for any service you may inquire. With their constant and consistent professionalism paired with a caring and understanding environment, you won't be disappointed.

I was injured at work and had been seeing a PT and surgeon for 6-8 months. I was taking pain pills, epileptic medicine for the shakes, anti-inflammatory, steroids, and more to function and wasn't feeling any better when I read about Melissa's story and her practice. After just a few treatments with ARP Wave Therapy I felt 100% better and was able to go off my medicines and get back to my physical world, work, and enjoying my kids.
