The Bristol Workforce Investment Board is one of 16 Workforce Boards throughout Massachusetts, and is charged with overseeing and implementing workforce development initiatives in the Greater Fall River, Attleboro and Taunton areas. The aim of the Workforce Investment Board is to build a truly universal, world class system serving the current and future workforce and all workforce entities. Striving to increase the occupational skill attainment, employment, retention and gaining of participants, and as a result improve the quality of the workforce, reduce dependency on public assistance
