I requested a quote for exterior stain on my home in McHenry. Ray responded quickly, coming out to my home to inspect the work site and ask detailed questions regarding the scope of the project, my preference of color and how to address additional issues we found during the inspection. Ray was courteous and gave professional advice on how achieve the best results.
He provided a detailed quote the same day and an estimate of when the project would begin. The start date was accurate and the work was done by Paul and Dan. It took about a week to complete and the results were pretty amazing. The home is pretty old and the old stain had faded badly. When completed, the house looked Iike new! My thanks to Paul and Dan for their courteous and professional work.
They were on time every day and completed the job in a timely manner. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the attention to detail that was shown by R&J Painting David Henry

Thank you so much to R&J Painting! You were excellent to work with from start to finish. Ray not only gave a detailed estimate but also came over personally to look over my kitchen cabinets to assure me they were still in good shape to invest in painting them. Tonya was a delight to work with and her follow up was amazing. The job site was kept immaculate and Ray was great at keeping me updated on progress and timelines.
I want to thank Brian my painter for taking such care over the project from the prep work to the painting. He does excellent work! He was thorough and a wonderful painter and was a pleasure to work with. My cabinets and fireplace look amazing.just like new! I am so glad I chose R&J Painting to do the project.

This is an amazing company! They responded to our quote request quick. Ray listened to what we wanted and explained everything that would occur during the job. Prices are very reasonable. Ray's crew, Darin and Jeff did an amazing job! They were very professional, polite and conscientious of their work. Everything was put back and cleaned after the job was completed. If you choose R & J Painting you will not regret your decision as they provided high quality service with amazing results. From the start, it was a pleasurable experience setting up an appointment for the estimate. Ray came over, spent a lot of time and also gave an estimate that was very detailed which was very helpful during the planning process.
The entire interior of my home was painted which included a lot drywall of holes in the ceilings that needed to be patched and painted post recessed lighting installation. Brandon and his team were outstanding. He and his crew were professional, hard working and their final results were absolutely amazing. Ray and his assistant Tonya were responsive, kind and professional. I also thought the color consultant Linda was so friendly and helpful in selecting final color choices. I definitely highly recommend R & J Painting for your painting needs.

11/28/19 Ray and Paul were wonderful to work with. Patched a troublesome area of our drywall (vaulted ceiling) and did an excellent paint job on top of it. Showed up when they said they would and for the price quoted. Outstanding job and clean up afterwords. I would definitely use them for future projects and easily recommend R&J for anyone who needs painting done.

Ray and his crew at R&J Painting did a fantastic job painting our place. Very professional and courteous. He and his crew were always responsive and were there when they said they would be. The painting itself was excellent. They did the painting quickly and efficiently and cleaned up when they were done so we wouldn't have known they were there. In all, great company.
