Ragamuffin was began by Susan Conway and Maggie Zeff nearly 23 years ago when they began appliqueing sweatshirts and embroidering toddlers' overalls. The long-time friends and former neighbors opened the store after years of designing and selling their own line of children' wear through catalogues. Ragamuffin is a homegrown store that has become one of the biggest stores in Modesto's McHenry Village, stocked with a complete line of kids's clothing - infants to girls size 16 and boys size 10, as well as a fun.
