As the store started to grow, plans were being made to expand. Those plans were put on hold when without warning, Ralph suffered a heart attack and passed away. His wife, Marian Singletary, decided to continue Ralph's endeavor to expand the store. A little time after completion of the store expansion, she decided to sell the store, as it was not a dream of hers to run, but that of her husbands and he was no longer here to run it. Ronnie Trosclair was the head store director and had worked at Ralph's since 1987.

About Us
read moreOur store name is Ralph's Market, yet today it is owned and operated by Brandon Trosclair and his wife, Katie. Brandon recently took over for his father, Ronnie Trosclair. The store was originally built by another father and son team - Emerson and Ralph Singletary. Using the son's first name, Ralph's Supermarket opened in 1984 with a commitment to serve the community with superior quality and service. After the passing of these two gentlemen, Ralph's was sold to the head manager, Ronnie Trosclair, who shared the Singletary's vision and had a desire to continue the legacy of its founders.
