Reading Tree

Janet Weston, a former educator and librarian, opened The Reading Tree in 2003 with hopes to encourage literacy in her local community. With her dreams at the forefront, a pretty imaginary tree with animals reading their favorite books was created, a fort was built at its feet, and The Reading Tree truly became a colorful place where reading adventures begin. From the very highest books to educational games, cuddly plush and creative play items, readers young and old continue to fall in love with this local, community-based bookstore.
