
I am Sarah Riedl, and I began my career as a individual trainer at a huge health club. I speedily realized that for a huge-box gym, individual training was anything but individual. It was all about sales? I always had a quota to hit, and more emphasis was placed on getting new customers than on helping current customers gain their aims. I was faced with the problem of quantity over quality, and I wasn't able to provide much in terms of support outside of the gym.
