In 1973, Tom Rensenhouse opened his 1st lighting showroom in Kansas City. While it was expected that the newest lighting products from the top manufacturers within the industry would be included, Tom Rensenhouse recognized that it would take much more than just quality products to fulfill his vision of being the finest lighting store in the market. He did his homework. He researched the industry and the greater Kansas City metroplex. From the very beginning, Tom began selling what people wanted to buy, not what the industry wanted to sell.
