Prairie View is Robert Trent Jones Jr.s 1st Indiana design, and its opening in 1997 raised the bar for all that would follow. A magnet for golfers from the major metropolitan areas of Northern Indiana, not to mention Chicago, St. Louis, and other cities, the course is becoming recognised as a player's club, where the hot sticks can always find a game. Laid out in the bed of the White River, Prairie View faithfully represents central Indiana's topography. The prairie-like front nine is open to the Midwest's unruly winds, while the back nine winds through stately oaks, tall sycamores, as well as beech and cottonwood trees.
