Together with their experienced and professional team they have created well founded, accredited and licensed beauty and barber schools. Rob Roy Academy was established in 1979 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Since then we've added additional locations in Fall River, Taunton, New Bedford, and Woonsocket RI.

All campuses offer fun and creative ways to work on your skills through, but not limited to, barber battles, cosmetology competitions and cut-a-thons. Each campus and program has its own unique personality. Robert Lapierre and Roy Samra started their career as hairdressers in 1958 with one salon in Worcester, Massachusetts. Through great customer service and professional skills their client base grew as the word of Rob Roy Hair Salon spread, and soon a second salon would open.
