Roberts Hardware was originally started as a general store selling baskets, brooms, and homewares to the neighborhood at the beginning of the depression era. Soon after opening, we added many more hardware items, paint, electrical and plumbing supplies and became a full-service hardware store. The store was actually named for our founder's son, Robert, as he felt that some day Robert would take over the business.
