The first Rockfish Seafood Grill restaurant opened in February 1998 at the intersection of Preston and Park in Plano, Texas. The fly fishing theme and casual seafood menu struck a chord with customers, as did the company's reasonably priced menu. The brand quickly developed momentum and spawned a vibrant and energetic culture. Currently, Rockfish has 10 Texas Restaurants: 8 of which in DFW, and two in Houston.
