read moreSusan Rose was a much loved, talented, and beautiful woman who suffered from a mood disorder that began in childhood. She later developed a substance use disorder and in 1997 at the age of 28, tragically died. In 1999, Susan's Legacy was established as a non-profit organization in memory of Susan Rose. Founded to provide services which were not available to Susan, we provide the necessary counseling, support, and case management so that women diagnosed with co-occurring disorders do not lose their battles as Susan so tragically did.

read moreCase management connects clients with medical providers, educational providers, helps clients find a source of income, and supports clients as they reunite with their children (and much more!). While Susan's Legacy does not provide housing, we work with community agencies who are able to offer housing options. Utilizing case management services, clients can expect to set individual goals and work with the case manager towards meeting those objectives. Through intensive case management clients learn to become self-sufficient, independent, and empowered women.
